Photo Contest

My neighbor is a photographer and he entered Shaden in to a "Cutest Kids photography contest." We normally wouldn't do something like this... but maybe it will be kind of fun. In order to get past the first round and actually be judged by photographers, he has to win votes. Every vote costs $1.

All the proceeds from the contest go to Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep (www.nlmdts.org) a non-profit organization made up of volunteer photographers that provide remembrance photography services free of charge to families experiencing the loss of an infant or child. Check out their website - it's touching and definitely a great cause!

We would LOVE your votes. TO VOTE..... follow these instructions. Go to the following website; http://www.sandypucvotes.com/pickpic/gallery/jump.php Once you follow the link go to "Salt Lake City, Utah" and click on "View Gallery". Pictures are sorted by last name. (So Shaden will be in the "C-E" category for "Colemere.")
If you'd like to vote and donate to a good cause it is $1 a vote. (every vote is a dollar, the more dollars-the more votes!) Voting ends April 2nd... so if you'd like to vote... do it fast! We appreciate any support you feel like giving! :)

Our little Scare

Last night, Bryan and I left the kids at my parents while we went to the gym. Meanwhile... little Doctor decided to get mad, pass out and then go into a seizure. When we got there he was mid-seizure, eyes rolling back into his head. It was very very freaky! Our Doctor says it's common to go into a seizure after throwing a tantrum and holding your breath! Still.... very scary!
I'm just getting what I deserve! When I was little, I used to hold my breath and pass out. My mom and dad called them my big "mac attacks!" Shae did the same thing when he was a baby but never went into a seizure. Crazy!
My dad and Bryan gave him a blessing and he is doing fine today!
Poor little guy is having some serious separation anxiety! I guess I better not leave him for awhile!
Then, if that wasn't enough, he choked on some snacks while I was making dinner tonight, and scared me all over again!
Luckily... all is well... for now!
I love that little stinker and I hope these scares are behind us!

March

This is a digital scrapbook layout I made using "Digital Scrapbook Memories." I just wanted to show how lucky the boys are! They have grandparents who love them more than anything. They spoil them, visit them, play with them, babysit them, and just LOVE them. Stockton is Papa's best buddy! For some reason (maybe because his middle name is Chad) he just loves Papa. When he's with Papa, he won't go to anyone else, even his mom! Shaden gets so excited whenever he gets to see his grandparents. He just cherished putting this puzzle together with Grandma! I'm so glad to have some wonderful parents!

This was a fun day at the park in our neighborhood. We went and picked up Makenna (Shaden's best little buddy!) and walked to the park! As you can tell, all the kids had a blast, even little Stocky! After tons and tons of cold weather, it was so nice to have a warm day to enjoy!

Lets go fly a kite!
Shaden got a new kite for his birthday from his buddy, Dyson. We took it with us to try it out. Daddy helped them get it in the air and they thought it was the coolest thing ever!

How Cute!!! Enough Said.

Shaden is sooooo nice to his little brother. He plays very well with him. He loves to read to him and his little brother loves it too!

Shaden likes to show his little brother all the cool things he can do and then he is patient enough to watch his baby brother try too! Shaden can get Stocky laughing harder than anyone else can! I totally enjoy watching them play together!

Brothers!!!

Splish Splash they were takin a bath!
Bath time is looked forward to, by these little guys!

Jayna's Birthday was spent at Texas Roadhouse! Of course, Georgie HAD to go along for the ride. Jayna had a fun birthday. Good thing Shaden has a birthday just two days later. It helps Jayna not be too embarrassed when she has someone else to sit on the "birthday saddle" with!

Oh Me Lucky Charm!

When I was little, my mom always made holidays the coolest. If it was St. Patty's day, not only was the food green, but the faucets actually poured out green water too! I thought, I'd make the day a little green myself, this year.

The Green Breakfast (At first, the boys weren't so sure about their green eggs, pancakes, milk and even oatmeal.... but it turned out to be a HUGE SUCCESS!)

Visiting Grandma at work with my "Lil' lucky charms!"

My St. Patrick's Day Conversation with Shae:

Me: Happy St. Patrick's Day, buddy!
Shae: What's St. Patrick's Day?
Me: It's a day where EVERYTHING is green!
Shae: But whose Birthday is it?
Me: No one's.
Shae: Oh, this is a reewy (really) bad day, Mom.

Can't believe he is THREE!

SHADEN IS THREE! I really can't believe how fast he is growing. He is such a funny kid. He talks all the time and makes us laugh. He is so sweet, too! He makes us so happy!
On the morning of his birthday, I did a treasure hunt for him. he had so much fun. He was so thankful and excited. I've included a video. It's long... but cute!
He received lots of gifts from Mom, Dad and Stockton. Some of these included; Handy Manny figurines, books, lots of puzzles (one being as big as him) and a lite brite. Did you know they make them "flat screens" now?! LOL! What a great Birthday!

So Shaden specifically asked for a Disney "Channel" Birthday Party! He is obsessed with Disney TV Shows, Disney Movies, Disney Characters, Disney Teen Sensations, Disney Songs etc. etc. etc.

The Birthday Boy! (In "Troy's" B-ball attire.... for all you High School Musical Fans)

The Party Invitation that I created... with his help.... he chose the pics!

My lovely creations (Mickey Mouse Party Sacks and Hats and of course, the "pick your favorite Disney Character cupcakes"... notice the one on the far right. It's Shaden's.... yes, he chose "Cruella DeVil" He LOVES her! I have no clue why, but the obsession is strong!)

The Disney "Channel" Party!

We had so much fun! The kids were so cute! They got to jump out of the tent when it was their turn to give their gift. That was pretty funny! Oh, three-year-old thrills! It was a fun day! (and... a huge thanks to Britt for saving the party and to Jayna for saving the baby!)

After the Party...

"Twas the night after the party and all through the house, not a creature was stirring....except for ONE LITTLE MOUSE!!!!"

February

Warning Warning Warning.... THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU ENTRUST YOUR CHILDREN TO AUNT JODIE AND UNCLE SPENCER!!!
They turn your precious baby boy into a cross dresser.... but dang he is cute!
And, they tattoo your sweet innocent children... but did I mention how cute they are?!!!

Stockton LOVES balls. Every time he sees one... it's "BAH BAH." He absolutely loves them. Check out the how he palms that ball.... a pro basketball player in the making!

Valentines Day was lots of fun! The boys were so excited. Mommy and Daddy gave them each a book and a treat. Shaden's book was a Mickey and Minnie Valentine one with glitter stickers and Stockton's was Snuggle Puppy... a super cute book! Shaden loves conversation hearts and always asks me what they say... I will read them to him. He started making up his own sayings and telling me and they were way funny!

Stockton often wakes up earlier than his brother and this gives us a chance to play one on one. He is such a sweetie! I'm so thankful he is in our family and that Heavenly Father has sent him to us!

Precious Moments Precious Boys

Oh Yes, the infamous SUCK AND CUT!!!
"Your sucking my will to live!"
I laughed so hard when Shaden decided to be "just like Aunt Jayna" and pretend to cut Daddy's hair. I laughed harder when I saw that he was using VACUUM ATTACHMENTS to do so! WAYNE'S WORLD, PARTY TIME, EXCELLENT!
Did I mention that this month Shaden is OFFICIALLY potty trained?!!! Woo Hoo!
