Final Update on Photo Contest

Just a a little update! Unfortunately, Shaden did not win the photo contest on the national level! However, we had fun, we raised a good amount of money for a great charity and we think Shaden is the cutest! :) Thanks for your support and love! We have AWESOME friends and family!

Our pics arrived from the photo shoot that Shaden won in April! It was so fun. We felt like we had a little movie star for the day, and Shaden still talks about it. He loved it!

This first one is my favorite! It is totally Shaden's personality and big blue eyes!

Shaden thought this "rocker/biker" outfit was the coolest! There is a guitar painted down his left leg and so he called them his "High School Musical/Camp Rock" pants! He was in heaven! Sandy Puc was the name of the photographer and she was sooo good! She never once, told the kids to "smile!" She just played with them and totally captured their real smiles!

This is Shaden's best little buddy, Makenna! She lives right across the street and they have been friends ever since they were born. He calls her "Kennarella" and he is her "Prince Charming!" Whoever was in 1st and 2nd place for Utah received this cool photo shoot! Shaden took 1st and Makenna was in 2nd.... so they got to experience this together and they were hilarious! It was a blast!

This is my favorite of the two of them! This is them... totally! Makenna is outgoing and Shaden is shy! (Plus, they love to dance with each other... and that's exactly what they were doing. The photographer had a hard time getting them to stop!)

When we were backstage getting Shaden ready, the photgrapher saw Stockton and wanted to use him too! We were excited about that! Good thing Mom was smart enough to dress him in a white undershirt like his brother.... just in case! :) Stockton is a ham for the camera! These were Shaden's first pics of the night and he hadn't quite warmed up to the photographer yet!

We had so much fun!

April Showers Bring May Flowers

I love flowers! I love everything about flowers! I enjoy choosing the flowers for my garden, planting the flowers for my garden, watching the flowers grow and taking care of the flowers! These are the spring tulips I have planted over the years! I truly get so excited for them to bloom! After a cold, colorless January... the spring is such a blessing! I love flowers!
My two little boys are the brightest flowers in my garden! :)

I chose these colors of tulips because they were our wedding colors!
(Bright pink, coral/melon and yellow)

Aren't the flowers even prettier with a bright smiling baby face in front of them?

Easter

All Dressed Up in our Easter Best!

St. George!
For Easter Weekend, we went to St George with my family! Thanks Mom and Dad, for the hotel! We had so much fun!
The locals probably think we are crazy, but when you are in St. George and the sun is shining.... you go to the pool! It doesn't matter if it's only April! The boys did a little swimming, Stockton endured "Papa Tortures," and the girls tried to get a tan! Our good friend, Sue (who lives there) even stopped by for a visit!

Stockton was very content in the warm weather. He chilled to Branson's ipod (which was so funny because he was bouncing and dancing like a teenager!) and then drifted off to sleep in Spencer's arms!

We took the boys to play at Jumpin Jacks! Shaden was in heaven! It was such a blast!
We're not sure who had more fun.... Shaden or "Big Kid" Uncle Spencer?!!!

That night, we had a semi-Girls Night Out! A couple cute little boys came with us. we went and did a little shopping and dinner at Chili's!

That night, we had a furry little visitor! The Easter Bunny found us in St. George! He even left his tracks for the boys to see in the morning! He brought them each a movie and some treats!

In the morning, Shaden went on an Easter Egg Hunt in the hotel room, while Stockton watched and played with his Easter stash!

We had a blast! St. George is one of our favorite places!

On the way home, we stopped to see Rob and Kristina's new St. George get-away! So nice! They, along with Rhett and Katie's family, prepared Easter Lunch for us! It was so yummy!

April

Sometimes you just take pictures because you're a mom and you think something is cute and you don't want to forget how little your baby is and how sweet it looked to see their precious little piggies hanging out of their crib!

One day after church, Shaden grabbed the camera and demanded a photo shoot. He directed, told us how to pose and snapped some fantastic shots! Ha ha ha! What a funny kid!!!

Shaden received a magic egg from the Easter Bunny this year. It was a special egg that you put in water. Every day, a baby chick hatched little by little. It was so fun for Shaden to watch it and wait! Finally it hatched all the way and Shaden was SO excited!

Easter Eggs!
We dyed eggs for family night! Bryan was so impressed with drawing on the eggs first with a crayon so that the color won't cover that part! (How did he not do that growing up?) Stockton's egg had "#12 Stockton" written on it... of course! Bryan's egg had a house for sale on it. (always promoting real estate, I tell ya!) Shaden's had his name and some pictures he drew. Mommy's was pink and purple with flowers!
Not only were our eggs spectacular to look at, but they tasted pretty good too!

Visiting the Easter Bunny was super fun for Shaden and a horrible tragedy for Stockton... too funny! Our little visit was followed by Easter Egg dying with Aunt jayna! What a fun day (for most of us!)

Okay, so I'm trying to keep these pics G-rated.... but seriously, how cute is Shower time with Daddy?! Stockton is such a happy boy! It doesn't take much to get him smiling. All you have to do is walk into a room, and he will giggle! He is such a joy!

In our ward, we do a workout group a couple times a week. It's nice because we can work out while the kids run around and play in the gym. Of course, we have to have music going.... and every time "I Like to Move it Move it" comes on, all the kids have to move and groove up on the stage!

Shaden looks forward to Daddy coming home from work so that they can play football! It's one of his favorite things to do with Daddy! Occasionally Stockton gets in on the action!

Shaden is such a cute brother. The other day, I was in the shower and Stockton started to cry. Shaden was such a good big brother. He went and got Stockton's binky and blanket without me telling him to and hooked his little brother up! When I got out of the shower, this is what I found! Soooo sweet!

Cutest Pajamas!!!

So, last year at Old Navy, I bought these CUTE jammies on clearance! I loved them. I'm a sucker for camo and couldn't resist. I love watching the boys play and interact together. They are so funny and they truly love each other!
