New House

We are Moving!

We bought a new home and are so excited to move into it! We are contemplating packing up little Lucy and taking her with us!
So the new home is TRASHED! However; it is FULL OF POTENTIAL!!! I'm so excited!
We have gutted it and are trying really hard to get it finished so that we can move in!
Let's just start with the outside! Yikes!!

Two toned, ugly shutters and door
Not only are they just UGLY... but they didn't even bother to tape them off when they painted.

The yard needs a lot of TLC. We are excited to get it looking great!
Pictures just don't do the "filthiness' justice. This place is dated and YUCKY and GROSS! The best word to describe it is.... WICKER (for those of you familiar with the term :)It has an "interesting" selection of colors
Even Stockton is a little shocked by this GREEN!!! I think my favorite part is that they also painted the ceiling and trim green! This room gives me nightmares!
There must have been a bird loose in the house.... as you can see by the lovely POOP all over the house...
...as well as all the random bird feathers!

All of the carpet throughout the house looks like this!
When we pulled it up, there was soooo much dirt, the boys could have had their own sandbox!

The good news is.... The home is in a great area and it is BIG! I'm so excited to have an actual storage room and this one is huge!It comes fully equipped with a fabulous swing set for the boys and they love the big backyard! (as you can see)
Thanks Dad for mowing our field, by the way! :)
Yay for DEMOLITION!!!
Jayna, her fiance, Chris and his friend Landon had a little too much fun destroying our house!!!

Bryan, watching the destruction!
Destroying the wall!
Jayna and Chris
I even joined in the fun! Nothing beats stress like kick boxing your house down!
It's HARD WORK, but somebody has to do it!
Spencer is a crack up!

Words just can't express our thankfulness so far! We have had TONS of help! We have great friends and family! From babysitting, to sanding, to tearing out, to hauling, to mowing, to providing food, to painting.... we have had TONS AND TONS of service given to us and we love all of you!

Rhett and Tom taking care of business!

Carol, hauling out garbage! (so sweet)
Alex, tearing out tile
Even Shaden liked to help! His favorite part was vacuuming up the mess. Hmm.... following after Papa maybe?!!!
The boys have had a crazy life. We are thankful that they have been good and willing to get passed around and watch "GAGA" (aka Mickey Mouse) on a hard floor for many hours! :) Thanks to Mom, Jodie and Jayna for saving them!

WISH US LUCK!!!

May Happenings

Forget playing catch up!!!! My oh my....
I'm just starting the blogging fresh again... check back in the past blogs now and then if you want to see what we have been up to!

May has been CRAZY! Here's what's up!

Mom's Birthday
Mom's B-day was great fun. Stocky doesn't like to participate in photos though... Doesn't he know that his mom is an avid scrap booker?!!! Good thing Shaden and Lucy like to smile!
Aw... there he is! :)Mother's Day
I have truly been blesssed. I love being a Mom to these two boys! They brighten every day, keep me on my feet and say the funniest things! I am so thankful for them.

After church, we went to my Grandpa and Grandma Daybell's. Again, Stockton prefers not to be photographed... Love you Grandma.

After that, it was on to my Mom's. We had lunch in the nice weather (finally!!!) and enjoyed it!

The Girls
And, oh look... it's Stocky.... only when he's NOT supposed to be in the pic! He's such a stinker... but a cute one at that!
Much to my dismay, we didn't make it to Grandma Lewis' and I forgot the camera at the Colemeres'. Grandma Mary wasn't there either, so we still have some mothers to celebrate! :)
Happy Mother's Day to all of you! Love you tons!

My Daddy Sells Houses
Shaden filled out a survey in Preschool. His answers were hilarious.
"Daddy's favorite food: Fish and Gross Food"
"What is your daddy not very good at?: Nothing, he's good at everything"
"Daddy's favorite shows on TV: News and Football"
and last but not least....
"What does your daddy do for his job?: SELLS HOUSES
Way to go Bry! We have seen a lot of these "SOLD" signs lately. Don't let a realtor tell you the market is bad... just work harder! :) Love ya babe!
Unfortunately, when Bryan is out working hard, the boys REALLY miss him. Then when he comes home and tries to work or rest... this is what happens....
