Can't believe he is THREE!

SHADEN IS THREE! I really can't believe how fast he is growing. He is such a funny kid. He talks all the time and makes us laugh. He is so sweet, too! He makes us so happy!
On the morning of his birthday, I did a treasure hunt for him. he had so much fun. He was so thankful and excited. I've included a video. It's long... but cute!
He received lots of gifts from Mom, Dad and Stockton. Some of these included; Handy Manny figurines, books, lots of puzzles (one being as big as him) and a lite brite. Did you know they make them "flat screens" now?! LOL! What a great Birthday!

So Shaden specifically asked for a Disney "Channel" Birthday Party! He is obsessed with Disney TV Shows, Disney Movies, Disney Characters, Disney Teen Sensations, Disney Songs etc. etc. etc.

The Birthday Boy! (In "Troy's" B-ball attire.... for all you High School Musical Fans)

The Party Invitation that I created... with his help.... he chose the pics!

My lovely creations (Mickey Mouse Party Sacks and Hats and of course, the "pick your favorite Disney Character cupcakes"... notice the one on the far right. It's Shaden's.... yes, he chose "Cruella DeVil" He LOVES her! I have no clue why, but the obsession is strong!)

The Disney "Channel" Party!

We had so much fun! The kids were so cute! They got to jump out of the tent when it was their turn to give their gift. That was pretty funny! Oh, three-year-old thrills! It was a fun day! (and... a huge thanks to Britt for saving the party and to Jayna for saving the baby!)

After the Party...

"Twas the night after the party and all through the house, not a creature was stirring....except for ONE LITTLE MOUSE!!!!"

February

Warning Warning Warning.... THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU ENTRUST YOUR CHILDREN TO AUNT JODIE AND UNCLE SPENCER!!!
They turn your precious baby boy into a cross dresser.... but dang he is cute!
And, they tattoo your sweet innocent children... but did I mention how cute they are?!!!

Stockton LOVES balls. Every time he sees one... it's "BAH BAH." He absolutely loves them. Check out the how he palms that ball.... a pro basketball player in the making!

Valentines Day was lots of fun! The boys were so excited. Mommy and Daddy gave them each a book and a treat. Shaden's book was a Mickey and Minnie Valentine one with glitter stickers and Stockton's was Snuggle Puppy... a super cute book! Shaden loves conversation hearts and always asks me what they say... I will read them to him. He started making up his own sayings and telling me and they were way funny!

Stockton often wakes up earlier than his brother and this gives us a chance to play one on one. He is such a sweetie! I'm so thankful he is in our family and that Heavenly Father has sent him to us!

Precious Moments Precious Boys

Oh Yes, the infamous SUCK AND CUT!!!
"Your sucking my will to live!"
I laughed so hard when Shaden decided to be "just like Aunt Jayna" and pretend to cut Daddy's hair. I laughed harder when I saw that he was using VACUUM ATTACHMENTS to do so! WAYNE'S WORLD, PARTY TIME, EXCELLENT!
Did I mention that this month Shaden is OFFICIALLY potty trained?!!! Woo Hoo!

Shaden-isms.... for this month!

(Early one morning)
Shae: "Woah, Mom, you're hair is a mess! I needs to get a comb!"
Me (laughing): "It's that bad?!"
Shae (running the comb through my hair with satisfaction): "There! Back to normal!"

His answer to every question
"Yes, I is!"

Every time he watches a Disney movie and sees the castle at the beginning or every time we drive past Mulligans and he sees the mini golf castle.
"Mom! Us really needs to go at Disney Land!"

In Time Out, the other day, I was standing in the hall way next to his room.
Shae (in tears and yelling): "Mom, shut the door!"
Me: No, I don't want you playing with the toys."
Shae: "SHUT THE DOOR!!!!!!"
Me: No, and we don't yell at Mom.
Shae: "1-2-3!!!"
Me(trying not to laugh): "Don't count at me, young man!"
Shae: "SHUT THE BEAKIN (freakin) DOOR!"
oops, maybe I better stop saying 'freakin!' You never realize how bad it sounds until you hear it out of the mouth of a 3 year old!

"I wanna ee my bog!" -I want to see my blog!

Shae: "Mom, I want more Docktons!" -(Stocktons)
Me: "Oh really?!"
Shae: "Yeah! ots and ots of Docktons!" -(Lots and lots of Stocktons)

Shae: "I beamed about my dog."
Me: "You dreamed about your dog? What dog?"
Shae: "My ewoh dog!"
Me: "You have a yellow dog?"
Shae: "We gonna buy it."
Me: "Oh really?
Shae: "Yeah, my ewoh dog named Boston!"

I bought stickers for his Birthday party. Much to my dispair, I found him using them all on paper. With a very proud look on his face he proceeded to tell me....
"I make pictures for all my biends. (friends) That good idea, Mom?"

In Stake Conference, he whispers in my ear...
Shae: "I wanna go up there and talk!"
Me: "You do?"
Shae: "Yeah, I wanna go up there and talk bout Jesus."
What a missionary in the making!

EVERY DAY!!!
"I awna awtch Disney Channel!" -I wanna watch Disney Channel

When he was sick, my favorite thing out of his mouth was...
"I iwwy ick! I needs mecine!" -I'm really sick. I need medicine.
and then....
"I'm feewing better, il' bit!"

"Mom, you still mad at me?"
There's pulling on your heart strings...

When trying to get out of Time Out!
"Orry, just orry, mom!" -Sorry:)

I got ready quickly one morning...
Shae: "Mom, why you not take all day get ready?"
Me: "Because I have other things to do today."
Shae: "Oh, ike pay and cuddle wif me?"-like play and cuddle with me?

My little Valentines

Be still my heart!!!
I sure love these two little heartbreakers! Happy Valentines Day!

6 Months Already!

I can't believe Stockton is already 6 months old! I can't get enough of him! He is truly a joy! He was so funny when we got these pictures taken. He smiled at EVERYTHING. It was the easiest portrait session we have ever experienced. He is the HAPPIEST little boy!
This picture just makes me laugh!
This one is my favorite!

Precious!

Look at those brown eyes!

... and his little teeth!

Getting so big.

We have a picture like this of Shaden. I had to get one of Stocky!

What a cute little stinker.
At his 6 month check up, we found out that he is in the 50th percentile for weight and the 95th percentile for height. Maybe he'll be a basketball player! His head size is in the 97th percentile... which is just like their Mama! LOL! Stockton is sitting up on his own and rolling all over the place!

January!!! Where did you go?

Seriously.... after the holidays, January just flew by! I only caught two moments before they disappeared!
Some Brother Bonding in front of the TV watching a favorite... Winnie the Pooh.

and, dinner with the "Colemere Girls" before MaryLynn headed back to New York.

Boys will be Boys!

Boys are oblivious to girly things from the very beginning... here's proof!

At church on Sunday, Shaden's little buddy, Makenna, sat by us. She leaned over and started a very cute conversation that went as follows...
M: "Hi Shaden, I like you!"
S: "Hi Makenna, I like you too!"
M: "When we get big, do you want to go to the temple with me?"

AND SHADEN'S CLASSIC RESPONSE...
(holding up his fingers) "I almost three!"

Oh dear.... boys just don't get it... do they!!!!?
