Boys are oblivious to girly things from the very beginning... here's proof!
At church on Sunday, Shaden's little buddy, Makenna, sat by us. She leaned over and started a very cute conversation that went as follows...
M: "Hi Shaden, I like you!"
S: "Hi Makenna, I like you too!"
M: "When we get big, do you want to go to the temple with me?"
AND SHADEN'S CLASSIC RESPONSE...
(holding up his fingers) "I almost three!"
Oh dear.... boys just don't get it... do they!!!!?

Little Helper
Today, Shaden helped me clean the house. While I was cleaning, he used baby wipes... to wipe.... EVERYTHING!
When he was all finished he came in to me exhausted and said, "Mom, I cleaned my WHOLE life!"
...Wow, that is some serious cleaning! :)

Christmas Festivities
Enjoying the High School Musical tent.... good thing Santa found a "boyish" High School Musical gift! :)
New Years Eve was spent chillin at home with the boys! Stockton looked like a cute little snow bunny in his new outfit from Aunt Jayna! What a doll!
The fun doesn't stop at Christmas! The next day was filled with visitors. Grandpa and Grandma Colemere, Grandma and Papa, and Aunt Jodie and Uncle Spencer came to see what Santa brought! All visitors were even willing to venture into the boys' tent!
Shae and Daddy played in the snow! Christmas Day came with a huge storm that prevented us from going to Grandma Mary's! Fortunately it made for a lot of fun on the 4- wheeler in the front yard!
Exhausted... Shaden crashed in his new tent!

After a long, fabulous Christmas, we go home to play with toys, read a bedtime story in our new tent and fall asleep with our new "Handy Manny" from Grandma, of course! What a great day!

Shaden loves playing with his older cousins, Graci and Morgan.... they even rope him into "Hair Train." I wonder how much longer he'll put up with that!
Christmas Dinner is held at Grandpa and Grandma Lewis' home. We have lots of Aunts, Uncles and cousins. It is so neat, that we still get together so often! Love you Grandpa and Grandma!

We have breakfast with my family every Christmas. My mom has an ocean of gifts downstairs. Shaden was thrilled as he stood, bewildered, in the middle of them. It was lots of fun!

Christmas Morning was such a blast! Shaden exclaimed, "Santa Came!" He was so sweet, he made sure that his brother was content and handed him toys all morning. I love how he thinks of his brother! Whenever someone would ask what he wanted for Christmas... he would always say what he wanted Santa to bring Stockton, before giving his own list! What a good brother! He was so excited all morning! His big gift was a High School Musical tent/stage. He also got his favorite movie, 101 Dalmations and a "Cruella Doggie." Stockton was all smiles, too. He was happy to be up and playing early in the morning! He loved his drums and his Curious George!

Santa REALLY came!!!!!... and boy did he spoil the Colemeres!

The Children were nestled, all snug in their beds, while visions of sugar plums danced in their heads...
We got ready for bed... making sure to leave Santa some Cookies!

When we got home, it was time for our family tradition... opening a "bedtime present." This year the boys got the book, Twas the Night Before Christmas. Shaden was soooooo excited. He really made this year MAGIC for me! His eyes would just light up in parts of the story. I loved it! Bryan and I wrote them a letter in the front of the book. I'm excited to read the book and letter every year! Even Stockton, listened intently! I feel so blessed to have two sweet little boys given to me from my Heavenly Father. What a gift to me. My boys remind me of the true meaning of Christmas. My love for them and my love for the Savior grows daily! I love Christmas Eve!

Grandma and Grandpa Colemere gives all of their grand children jammies to wear to bed on Christmas Eve. The kids love the tradition and can't wait to see what their cousins look like! Shaden LOVED his gorilla jams and was all smiles as he posed with his buddy/cousin, Adam! Stockton was so cuddly in his. The back of his said, "First Christmas." Shae thought that his older girl cousins had the COOLEST High School Musical and Hannah Montana pj's in the whole world!

Christmas Eve is spent at the Colemere's. It was so fun to have Aunt MaryLynn home from New York! Shaden loved wearing the costumes, singing and being a part of the pageant. He was very sweet and patient throught the whole program!

You too, can have a sweet bread basket if you buy a home from Bryan! Hee hee! No, really, though! :)
He was all over it! We couldn't get him off the ice. Someone had to hold on to him the whole time but he was giggling and loving every minute. Despite the fact that it was freezing cold, he was so sad when it was time to go. Stockton spent the evening wrapped in a blanket by the fire with his aunts!

Shaden was hilarious! He was so excited and SO into it! He would cheer and pose after each turn! What a funny kid!

Following lunch, we ventured out for a little bowling! I kicked trash in my "Santa hanging out the back, socks!" Good Old Fashioned Family Fun!
On Christmas Eve... Tradition finds the Lewis Family traveling to Provo for lunch at the Brick Oven. So yummy and so fun!
Shaden insisted on listening to Faith Hill's "Santa Claus is Coming to Town" all the way there! I'm okay with that! It was such a fun day!
Count Down
Every morning we hear the pitter patter of little feet and then, "I wanna open a door!" Shae loves counting down the days until Christmas. I put stickers and a candy in each door and he can barely wait until the next day to see the surprise inside!
Sweater Mustache Party
Time for the annual Sweater/Mustache Party at the Hatch's! My mom used to wear the sweet cardigan I'm sporting! Too bad you can't see the Santa with bells and the sequined "HO HO HO!" Bryan borrowed his sweater from his dad and we painted mustaches on the boys! Shaden looks very brute with his handlebar mustache and the baby is our little frenchman! This party is lots of fun, but you can't get in without a Christmas sweater or mustache!
Oh Christmas Tree
Ever since I was little, I can remember my mom having a BEAUTIFUL Christmas tree. I have loved decorating mine and the boys just love staring at it.... and the presents below! The excitement is in the air!
Neighbor Gifts
For neighbors this year, I made these cute little bags of potpourri.Bryan the Realtor
Bryan has been working really hard and has been able to do a great job selling real estate! He recently sold our good friends, Brock and Angi, a beautiful home! I'm jealous :)You too, can have a sweet bread basket if you buy a home from Bryan! Hee hee! No, really, though! :)
Junior Olympian
We went ice skating with the Lewis Fam and weren't sure if Shaden would even do it.He was all over it! We couldn't get him off the ice. Someone had to hold on to him the whole time but he was giggling and loving every minute. Despite the fact that it was freezing cold, he was so sad when it was time to go. Stockton spent the evening wrapped in a blanket by the fire with his aunts!

Gingerbread Houses with Grandma Colemere
Grandma takes time every year to make gingerbread houses with each grand child. Keep in mind that Stockton is number 25!!! That is a lot of gingerbread and A LOT OF PATIENCE!!! She starts this tradition when the kids are 3 years old. Shaden was supposed to wait until next year but Grandma let him do it and he absolutely LOVED it! He can't wait for next year! We laughed when she told us that he wouldn't eat a single piece of candy. He wanted to use them all on the house!

GQ Baby
Shaden loves to play in the snow. He also loves our neighbor Russ. Russ came down and taught Shaden the art of throwing snowballs at Mom!!!! (Thanks Russ!) I had to run and take cover behind our screen door. Shaden then discovered how fun it is to tackle Daddy in the snow!
Things We Enjoy
Stockton enjoys playing with his toys and trying to play with Shaden. He can roll all over now. I found him under the piano bench and blamed Shae. Shae quickly informed me that Stock had put himself there and much to my surprise, he was right! Shaden LOVES LOVES LOVES puzzles. He likes to 'borrow' things from Papa and Dauna's house. He is always taking their puzzles and Disney movies. Last but not least, Shaden loves stickers! We have to buy them at every store and for every reward. He loves making sticker pictures for everyone, cutting them up and putting them in "elmo opes" -envelopes- and giving them to people! In this picture, he has placed stickers on his forehead as well as baby brother's!

All bundled up to visit the elves at Gardner Village!

Sundays seem to be the day for snapping pictures at our house. How can we resist when the boys look so handsome?!!!

Jami's Baby Shower... It was so fun to have Jami visit from Ohio. She is expecting a little girl in February! We all went to Chef Tom's to celebrate. I love Angi and Jami. We always have fun and I'm glad that we have been friends for so many years! We love our cute moms, too!

Shaden is so much fun this year! He absolutely loves everything that has to do with "Biffmus" aka "Christmas." He is such a good little boy!

Little Chubs! What a cutie! Stockton is called "Doctor" around here! Shaden pronounces his name "Dockton" and then uncle Spencer changed it to "Doctor" and it stuck! We often sing the song, "Dr Dr, give me the news.... I've gotta bad case of lovin you!"

Driving around, looking at Christmas Lights, is just one of the many "Lewis" traditions. This was at Thanksgiving Point and we were lucky enough to see one of Santa's reindeer!

Matching Monkeys
When I was little, we always got matching jammies for Christmas Eve. I always wanted to continue that tradition and then I married into a family that did it as well. My mother-in-law gives all the grandkids jammies on Christmas Eve to wear home. The kiddies just love it. I still wanted to do it myself, so I decided to start my own "Thanksgiving PJ's." This year, they are cute little monkeys!

Daddy and Me
Stockton greets Daddy with a HUGE smile as soon as he gets home and then proceeds to just stare at him until Daddy pays attention again. Shae loves reading books with Daddy before bed and likes to do what "daddy do's." When Daddy was putting up the lights, Shae had to be out there and if Daddy has his sun glasses on, you better believe Shae does too!
